Jakarta - Abdul Rachman Saleh airport located in Malang, East Java, this morning at 07.30 am was closed again . Closure occurs due for bursts of volcanic ash from Mount Bromo, which leads to the southwest and thus interfere with the flight activity from and to the Abdul Rachman Saleh airport.
In affidavits from Lion Air Group's parties, on Friday (01/08/2016), the airport would be reopened at 07.30 pm on the following day, January 9, 2016. With the closing Abdul Rachman Saleh, some flight route was stopped temporarily.
Batik and Wings Airline which has the same route to Malang as Batik Air, Halim Perdanakusuma to Malang (pp) and Wings Air from Denpasar to Malang (pp) was also closed temporarily until re-opening of the Abdul Rachman Saleh Airport. Lion Air ensures that all passengers who have been holding a ticket for a canceled flight today could do the refund.
